Considering that a law aliening American citizen can go buy a .50cal machine gun (finding a full auto one on the market would be near impossible, but you hardly need full auto) and ammo and his own M60 tank to mount it on I dare say a police .50cal on an APC might be underkill before its overkill. But I also really highly doubt they’ll actually use the thing as others have pointed out, the M113 probably just came with it already mounted.
