on the other hand my sister in law is a frakkin genius of a former single mom, when it comes to finances. She managed to sell their old place within 48 hours of the bubble bursting in silicon valley, and then bought their current home, after the prices in the North Bay hit bottom. Doing this they were able to net enough to pay off some of my brother's massive debts, and she bought herself a hybrid car just before the gas prices started rising like crazy.
