What the fuck are you talking about? That's because the Singapore Government probably refuses to give any licenses out. And the last time any of the local press showed independent thought, it resulted in the firing of the editor. So which editor would? NEvermind that some of the writers at the Straits TImes were former ISB people.
I just find it weird that you are talking like Singaporeans have an alternative newspaper company to choose from.
Bah. Even if the younger generation have a more tolerant attitude, they give a rat's ass about change, never mind the fundie Christians that exist in many corners of the state.
For one, people who are actively involved in politics will always be a minority, even in nations like US and etc.

You keep asking the younger generation to do something, but kindly tell us what actions are we going to take then? Hell, it's not even the election year for crying out loud!

Seems like the only way we are giving rat's ass about change to you is to stage some form of public protest right?

Change? Change to what? It's not like Singapore has any decent opposition party we can choose to replace the PAP.
Humans are such funny creatures. We are selfish about selflessness, yet we can love something so much that we can hate something.
