Meh. Even the SA had standards. Most of the trodgolytes in the videos wouldn't have been accepted because a) they are too fat b) they are too old and c) they are women.

All three things are not great if you want to engage in vicious street battles with communist mobs and destroy/kill/main jews and their property. In my experience, about 90% of people who have Nazi simpathies would not have been accepted in their employ or gained any notoriety within the cause.

Hmm. Good point. Funny point, too.

Though if you transplanted the same population into 1930s Germany and had them grow up in that era, it's likely that fewer of them would be fat, just because the average of the bell curve was thinner in 1930s Germany than in 2000s America. But the "too old" and "women" aspects are definitely relevant for the ones shouting into microphones.

The ones carrying guns to town hall meetings? I don't know; those seem to mostly be men, and I know the ones I've seen pictures of were of moderate age.
