Governor Palin Scheduled to Sign Denali KidCare Bill
(ANCHORAGE) – Gov. Sarah Palin will sign Senate Bill 27, the Denali KidCare bill into law at the Women in Government, Western Regional Conference in Anchorage on July 9th at the Anchorage Downtown Marriott Hotel.
Sen. Bettye Davis (D – Anchorage) sponsored SB 27 during this year’s legislative session.
“The Denali KidCare Program provides affordable, quality health insurance for children that would otherwise go uninsured,” said Senator Davis. “This year the legislature recognized how important the program is by bumping up the eligibility rates and I am very proud of the fact we did that.”
The Denali KidCare Program is one of the most affordable medical assistance programs out there for insuring children. The federal government pays about 70 percent of the program costs.

WHO: Governor Sarah Palin
WHAT: Bill signing for Denali KidCare legislation
WHEN: Monday, July 9, 2007 at approximately 6:45 p.m.

How about that, Sarah Palin is once again a useless piece waste of a human. She supported Universal Health Care for a kids program in the state of Alaska, but now she is afraid of the Death Panels.
"If the facts are on your side, pound on the facts. If the law is on your side, pound on the law. If neither is on your side, pound on the table."

"The captain claimed our people violated a 4,000 year old treaty forbidding us to develop hyperspace technology. Extermination of our planet was the consequence. The subject did not survive interrogation."

It's common. Most people would fail to discern information beyond the headlines.

If they bothered to read what UHC is really about, and stop being intellectually lazy when it comes to political issues, I would think that a lot of people would actually vote for UHC.
Humans are such funny creatures. We are selfish about selflessness, yet we can love something so much that we can hate something.

Indeed. It's similar to the way many Creationists actually believe in evolution to a degree without realizing it when they speak of how speciation occurred after Noah's arc. It all stems down to a overarching fear of what they believe is "evil" knowledge.
