Bristol Palin’s Nonprofit Paid Her 7 Times What It Spent On Actual Teen Pregnancy Prevention
In 2009, Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol joined a teen pregnancy prevention nonprofit called the Candie’s Foundation. Today, the Associated Press reported that the Candie’s Foundation released its 2009 tax information, revealing that Bristol was paid a salary of $262,500.
But a closer examination of the tax form by ThinkProgress shows that the group disbursed only $35,000 in grants to actual teen pregnancy health and counseling clinics: $25,000 to the Mt. Sinai Adolescent Health Center and $10,000 to the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy. View a screenshot of Bristol’s exorbitant salary below:
This is glorious. Posted in testing because, frankly, words fail me.

"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."
"The 4th Earl of Hereford led the fight on the bridge, but he and his men were caught in the arrow fire. Then one of de Harclay's pikemen, concealed beneath the bridge, thrust upwards between the planks and skewered the Earl of Hereford through the anus, twisting the head of the iron pike into his intestines. His dying screams turned the advance into a panic."'
Do I have to explain the concept of a tax shelter to you guys?
The non-profit is funded by some Neil Cole dude so that he gets a full tax write-off for his company and some good PR to go with it. It then pays out to Bristol Palin which makes her income non-taxable. There's almost certainly a kick-back scheme in place where Palin then hands a fat wad of cash back to Cole for helping her get the position to launder his income. If Cole isn't a complete moron he's probably funding at least a dozen "non-profits" to write-off all his taxes and launder his money.

Say, do you want it to be a threesome with your wife? Or a foursome with your wife and sister-in-law? I'm up for either.
Saved for future purposes, just one more piece of evidence...

A decision must be made in the life of every nation at the very moment when the grasp of the enemy is at its throat. Then, it seems that the only way to survive is to use the means of the enemy, to rest survival upon what is expedient, to look the other way. Well, the answer to that is 'survival as what'? A country isn't a rock. It's not an extension of one's self. It's what it stands for. It's what it stands for when standing for something is the most difficult! - Chief Judge Haywood

Are you sure income paid by a charity is non-taxable? If you have a tax system that isn't insane then salaries paid by charities are just as liable for income tax, it's just that charities pay no corporation tax.

I don't know to be honest, this thread was in Testing when I made that post.
But given that this is the US tax code we're talking about I wouldn't be surprised if it were.
