Thanas guessed right, they did get a fine (article in German). The initial demand by the state attorney was a fine of 1.200 EUR, but it was later reduced to 150 EUR by the judge. The defendants weren't too cooperative by the way, since they delayed the process several times with challenges on grounds of bias.
