Frankly, given the times, getting her any bump in pay at all would have been surprising.

Now I did a job. I got nothing but trouble since I did it, not to mention more than a few unkind words as regard to my character so let me make this abundantly clear. I do the job. well it wouldn't surprice me if alot of the members here were born after the 60s so we don't really have an idea how bad things were back then (FYI: I was born 1982)

I'm just old enough to remember when being a woman or minority automatically meant less pay (and opportunity). I'm actually happy the younger folks don't have that visceral knowledge of that particular injustice.
