Ok what kind of fucking idiots do they hire to guard the US-Canada border, in NB an old women is accused of border-jumping in the driveway of her own house,is common sense not required when applying for a government job.

Ok what kind of fucking idiots do they hire to guard the US-Canada border, in NB an old women is accused of border-jumping in the driveway of her own house,is common sense not required when applying for a government job.

Last time over to the U.S. side I handed the customs official my valid passport. She responded with, "I need to see a piece of i.d." I countered with, "Uh, that is a piece of valid i.d.". She apparantly thought that I handed her my wallet when I gave her my passport! We both had a good laugh and then I was on my merry way!

Ugh don't even think you can get across the border between Mexico/US within an hour at the Tijuana crossing. Factor in at least an hour.. an hour and ten minutes. What sucks most are all the rent-a-cops that think they are actual Customs or INS and take out their frustrations on the little guy just trying to get back into the states. Luckily, a valid ID is all that is needed to get back to the States. Oh and if we are at an ORange alert, don't mess around inside the building while waiting in line, they'll pull you out of line, berate you in front of everyone and then tell you to gt to the back of the line (+10-45 minutes).
