Fair enough. The point of my post, though, was that Ralin was discussing a guy who was clearly confusing Benzos and opioids. Opioids would help the tummy pain and diarrhea his all-meat diet is probably causing, though there are better options that aren’t addictive. Benzos mostly just dull you and chill you out or put you to sleep. They’d have no meaningful impact on his stomach problems unless he was having abdominal muscle spasms and that would be something you would need to get some real testing for instead of tossing pills at it. (For me, that was gallbladders and later bile duct issues. I am to understand it could also be pancreatic cancer or garden variety pancreatitis, as well.) And, like you said, it would take so much to matter that it would be a bad option as far as pills you throw at a problem go.mr friendly guy wrote: ↑2020-02-28 02:17pmWhile benzos aren't painkillers per se, there is some controversy about whether they can be used to treat back pain due to its muscle relaxant properties. It has traditionally been prescribed to help back pain, albeit far from being a first line drug for this. And when I say controversy, I mean in the sense that its now thought that to "relax" your muscles, you must be on so much that you are already drowsy, ie standard dose prescribed for back pain most probably doesn't help.

I had a Bill Maher quote here. But fuck him for his white privelegy "joke".
All the rest? Too long.

I could have gotten that detail wrong (the person I was thinking of is pretty familiar with opioids), but does it really matter? Same difference.
