thanks, yeah, I am a big fan of my civil rights, and really do not apprecaite what's been happening over the last few years. Particularly in the area of internet censorship.

The other half of the 13th and 14th amendment is that States do not have the right to take away rights granted to you under federal law. This is a big one with conservative groups who don't want equal protection for "Certain People"

Namely: Women, Religious Minorities, Gays, Certain ethnic groups, and folks who are not legal residents but still work here. (Get rid of those pesky federal minimum wage laws, child labour laws, and health and safety laws for your sweatshops)
