Aussies - Labour Leadership Debacle.

Post by weemadando »

So, who do you support?

And who do you think is going to get it?

And who do you think should get it?

Or do you think that they're fucked anyhow and are going to vote Green?

I think Beazley will take leadership, though it will fuck up the Labour party for a while. And they'll get their asses handed to them at the next election. Maybe is Crean didn't look some much like Dubya it's be better for him.

I don't have an opinion. Even though I vote Labour.

Well its "Labor" not "Labour"... don't ask me why, its not my fault.
sorry, I'm a self confessed nitpicking pedant.

Mark Latham for PM says I.

Some say he's too abraisive but most of his platforms are great. And he's in the Goughs old seat. And he's an old public school boy. AND he's just a champ.

(OR Bring Back Gough!)

But okay, lets be realistic, Kim or Simon? Both are seatwarmers, Kim stayed silent on the asylum seeker issue, for which he lost my respect. Simon doesn't say much either, at least he didn't support little John all the way on the 'attack' on Iraq. But realistically, whoever has a better chance of getting Labor over the line next election is it, and Kim has the higher approval rating, so yeah, Kim... but only because he's the lesser of two evils.

NB as it stands Bob Hawke supports Beazley and Gough Whitlam supports Crean.

Its always been the Australian Labor Party.
Like I said, its not my fault, I'd rather it be the 'correct' spelling...
When I'm PM I'll change things.

Not really a big suprise.

Not that I think Labor will win government in the next election.

Beasley has lost a few pounds and is just wanting to show off. This is not what Labour needs right now. Stupid time for this to happen.

That you have never tased anything else other than your own nations beer is not a indication that ours is worse. I have tased Aussie beer and it is uniformly worse than ours.
