Since Mike's thread has turned into an arguement and I think this might clarify the opinions of a lot of Americans.
Do those of you not from America that critisize Bush do you know what most American's think and see when you do? We know George Bush scares you. At times he scares us but we'd rather have a strong leader than no leader.
Even before September 11th a lot of people were concerned by the stridency of Bush's diplomacy and policy but were happy to see some one with balls in office. A lot of people simply didn't like Clinton's foriegn policy because it seemed built on American sacrifices and American blood. We saw the clusterfucks the peace keeping operations were and saw Europe urging us into one after the other. They might not like Bush but stuff like that made many want a more US oriented foriegn policy.
And then September 11th changed things completetly. To us we were then at war and for most of us we're still at war. Unless you've been in that position it's hard to understand how profoundly that changes things. People wanted revenge and more than they wanted it to never ever happen again. Bush offered that and people seeing his damnedest to deliver.
And when we see other from "safe" countries in Europe critisizing and nitpicking right from the beginning, the response "go fuck yourself" is only natural. We see people that didn't go through it bossing us and our leader around and that angers people. We might agree about some of it but still resent it.
You might not agree or like it but there it is. That's how a lot of American's see it. [/i]

Why do you and Stravo try to make us believe this lie?
Germany and France (I take this for example because I think you are reffering to them) support USA after september 11, hell they even send troops to the campaign in Afganistan.
If that's critisizing and nitpicking.... I don't know what you call support?
Maybe you want us to suck Bush's cock? Be your servants? WHAT?
You have a fucking bad memory or you lie to yourself, only because we don't support you on Iraq war because of own interests we are "bad" since we are "bad" we ALWAYS were AGAINST US.
Come on man, you see that's false.
Of course many people didn't like Bush even before Iraq war, for many reasons one of them breaking kioto pact, but that's not my point.
My point is that we supported you after the terror acts even if you NOW don't want to see it.

They complained from the start about how we conducted the war, about how we had the nerve to imprison and interogate the terrorists, and about what we did afterwards. That kind of thing only got worse. Rember the shit we caught for Camp x-ray or for helping the Northern Alliance? Remember the German minister that compared Bush to Hitler? I do. That's the kind of thing that I call critisism and nitpicking. Why do you and Stravo try to make us believe this lie?

And then there was Iraq....
The rest of your crap isn't even worth addressing and if I could I would sue you for wasting precious seconds of my life I wasted reading it.

You seem to ignore the fact that those "safe" countries in Europe had suffered under terrorism, like Italy, Germany, the UK, or are still suffering, like Spain.Stormbringer wrote:And when we see other from "safe" countries in Europe critisizing and nitpicking right from the beginning, the response "go fuck yourself" is only natural. There weren't that many deaths in the same incident, but sumed up, it would make for quite a death toll, too.
