I am suprised by the callousness of the statement of "destroy all religious sites." As GAP said, certain fanatics simply want a reason to kill eachother, it doesn't have to be a good one. You could blast every religious site to quarks, burn every painting, smash every stainglass window, and tear every manuscript to tiny pieces and bury them at the bottom of the oceans, and still a Christian Neo-Nazi would kill a Jew for being a Jew, a Jewish extremist kill a muslim for being a muslim and a Islamic extremist kill a Christian for being a christian. Your plan does nothing. The fact the step on eachothers toes does little more than incite the violence that already exists in them. They would kill regardless, their religion tells them to. Its irresponsible to blaim it on religious sites, the religion itself, and their interpritation is the problem.
This is no worse than me or shep asking why we don't nuke some random country, it wouldn't solve the problem, your just trying to alleviate it for a short time.

These are settlers, which by definition means extremist of varying intensity, what do you expect? There is not much difference between the settlers and the Hamas fanatics, except they are on opposing sides.

Yeah, the extremist settlers are the ones that really freak me out, I'm more afraid of those asshats when I visit Israel than I am of any Palestinian threat.
