Sweden and Denmark are the best countries in the world!

Post by Dooey Jo »

Link to a report of some sort

'nother link.

Something is wrong with the world when a country like Sweden can be the best, especially when everything seems to be going to hell here. Maybe I should be glad I don't live abroad then; it can only get worse. :D

hmmmm. if not for the climate and the tax burden, i'm sure Sweeden would be a wonderful place. Nothing against the Sweedes here, but as far as Europe goes, i'll take the southern coastal areas of Spain, Portugal or Italy.

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

Um... Yay?

Can't say I'm that surprised, although I probably wouldn't have thought that Denmark would be that high on the list. Top 15 I could see, but one of the two best countries? I guess our media is exaggerating the negative stuff about us... As if that was supposed to be surprising.

But as I was saying... Yay! :)

Take Spain or Portugal. Italy is dirtier and the climate is not so "fresh" (atlantic Vs mediterranic). :)

Really? How's that? Do you believe you can't have a functional country and still eliminate chronic poverty?

Does getting bonus points for having less military spending really make sense? That's not really fair is it?

Why? Money spent in the military is not spent elsewhere. Life in a country with no enemies can be better than life in a country that has to maintain a powerful military.
