You obviously don't know what an economic exclusion zone is. Any resources within 200 miles of a nations shores at sea belong to that nation. In this case the oil fields of the North Sea got divided between the UK and Norway.Dark Hellion wrote:North Sea = Britain??
It's when stuff is outside any nations EEZ or when the boundary between overlapping EEZ's is disputed you get major problems, that's why the often-touted oilfields of the Spratly islands are still disputed and undeveloped.
