To protest Al Gore's attempted coup of the United States government, maybe?

No smartass, to shut down (which they did) a recount that Gore was lawfully entitled to.
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

Because of the same lists, 6,500 ineligible felons were actually allowed to vote and did so, according to the Palm Beach Post.
From what I've seen so far this is true. But blacks make up a tiny minority of the population in FL and the rate for blacks to be mislabled as felons was over 40%. Still points to targetting blacks due to their voting preferences.

With blacks overwhelmingly taking it up the ass, among the most blatant examples of conflicts of interest ever, in a state run by Bush's brother and campaign members, who told DBT it didn't give a shit about false felon lists.

Indeed, a mistake that Jeb, Harris, and DBT KNEW was going to be made.

Media Consortium Statewide Count of "Undervotes" and "Overvotes" Proves Gore Won Under ANY Standard, but Consortium spins ITS OWN FINDINGS, claiming that Bush won with undervotes DESPITE that the "two corner detatched standard" that allowed Bush these votes was prohibited by legal precedent! Election officials in Escambia County were therefore committing election fraud.

You mean the same Al Gore that was determined to recount until he won regardless of the out come of the actual election? If we had it his way we'd still be recounting ballots today and never mind the Constituional crisis it would have created had we not had a President come Inuageration Day.

And Democrats.com is more reliable than the independent media.

Garbage. 1.25 million votes ended up not being recounted. This was in violation of state law which required a machine recount when the margin of victory was under .5%. A whopping 175,000 were never counted at all during the election because of rejection from voting machines, including the chad problems that were a result of clogged machines that weren't cleaned in two years, making it difficult to fully punch a hole, and votes that were rejected even when voters followed instructions fully (writing candidate name would often yield a rejection even though it was part of the instructions).

In short, James Baker is an obvious liar.

You now... this whole argument is pointless, what happened, happened, we can use it against Bush in the next election...

Personally I tink the Electoral College system needs to be culled, that is the REAL reason Gore lost... He had the popular vote, but the EC ass-raped him

And I suppose you have a replacement system in mind that won't have every presidential election decided by the Northeast, California, and Florida, correct?

If a majority of the population lives in those places, why shouldn't they dominate?
If Religion and Politics were characters on a soap opera, Religion would be the one that goes insane with jealousy over Politics' intimate relationship with Reality, and secretly murder Politics in the night, skin the corpse, and run around its apartment wearing the skin like a cape shouting "My votes now!
