I have a problem with both of them (seen both two). Those gunship pilots couldn't possibly have had any idea what that thing they *abandoned* in the middle of a field was. Here's a possible scenario for those three dead men's final minutes:

"What's that in your car?"

"An RPG/SAM/old pipe/log/old carpet/etc etc etc. I found it up the road."

"You fucking idiot, throw that away!"

"Oh shit, you're right, ok ..."

*brrrrrrrrrappppppppppppppppppppppp*

All dead.
