You don't ask the FBI to investigate marketing ploys.

Now apparently, PSN and Xbox Live have been under a DDOS attack.

How many other times have they each been under DDOS attacks this year ?

Sure they have, it's called "Christmas". Millions of kids and adults logged in and started downloaded patches so they could play their new video games, and their servers couldn't cope.Enigma wrote:Now apparently, PSN and Xbox Live have been under a DDOS attack.

Except that's incorrect. Lizard Squad is claiming credit again, and the traffic is supposedly coming mostly from Asia, as opposed to the Americas and Europe where most of the gifts would have been given...Grumman wrote:Sure they have, it's called "Christmas". In case anyone's actually thinking about seeing this movie, don't. I tried to watch it but I could only stomach the first twenty minutes of horrible dialogue and a complete lack of comedic timing. The trailer clearly set my expectations too high.

I ended up watching the entire thing. It doesn't get any better after the first twenty minutes. It was so bad I could understand the sentiment of wanting to bomb whoever is responsible.General Zod wrote:In case anyone's actually thinking about seeing this movie, don't. When did I say there was no attack? Obviously there was. My point was that the stunt over pulling the film and then releasing it on the original day anyway is a marketing ploy for a film that isn't very good.General Zod wrote:You don't ask the FBI to investigate marketing ploys.
