The UK was Red, Canada was Crimson, New Zealand was Garnet, Oz was Scarlet, and India was Ruby. They had another plan for Ireland they called Emerald, which I guess was supposed to go on at the same time.

The overall plan was called War Plan Red.

Funny thing about War Plans - the Documents used as guides for how to write them are unclassified - I know because I have several of them from the Air Force (thanks to my father).
