How many people who believe in whatever flavor of Christianity they prefer openly admit they think everyone else is wrong? I have a hard time believing that they don't privately wish everyone would believe the same way they do without being overtly vocal about it.brianeyci wrote: There is a difference. "It's you Americans. There's something about nipples you hate. If this were Germany, we'd be romping around naked on the stage here."
So what? If they're not overly vocal about it, they're not prostelyzing and actions mean a lot more than some secret wish in someone's head.General Zod wrote:How many people who believe in whatever flavor of Christianity they prefer openly admit they think everyone else is wrong? I have tons of secret wishes too but I don't act on them. You going to criticize me for them now too?
Again I don't think this really applies to Blair, because for one he DID invade Iraq. But you brought this point up. I don't particularly like the idea that politicians' lives have to be under the scrutiny of a microscope, their religion, their private actions... it's the same line of thinking that led to a cum stained dress starting impeachment. I don't particularly care what people do in their private lives if they're public officials as long as it's not illegal or immoral.
