I want to make a fourth part to this poll eventually when McCain picks his running mate.
As for the race in question. I'd vote Third Party. Or, maybe, vote in every other race being run but not the Presidential pick.

I wrote in for your castration, but I'd vote for Hillary. If she wins my moral sense of political justice is offended, but if McCain wins America as a whole continues its death spiral into the shitter.
I can't say I'd vote for either of the main party candidates with total confidence: I'd never vote for Hillary and the idea for voting for McCain makes me actually wince. I don't even know if it'd be worth bothering to throw away a vote on a third party loser. To be honest, I think Clinton is every bit as bad as McCain, and we'd be equally fucked with either.

Actually, John Stewart did that big on his show where he played the clip of Clinton talking about how she wasn't listening to economists, then had her face morph into Bush's, which did the evil glowing eyes.

Well I have none of the haterade for Hillary that most people do, it appears. I'll vote for Hillary.
Though i should point out--and i know i'll get flames for this--i really dont personally dislike any of the candidates, and to be honest i find most of this partisanship and idiotic name calling outright childish considering how important THIS election is.
Does anyone have a reason for voting for John McCain other than "I don't like Hillary" and "4 more years of GOP rule will make everyone realize how bad they are"? (Both of which are incredibly stupid reasons)

Well my reason was based on hope, and the fact that Hillary is basically becoming Republican-Lite. Might as well vote for the person with more experience and who I have more respect for then some one whom I don't.
That's just this scenario though. In the Obama V McCain thread, I voted (and will vote) Obama.

Even if Clinton is showing herself to be a softcore Republican, that would still beat John McCain's XXX Republican Gangbang of the American people.

It'll tank the US dollar and make mail order shopping even cheaper for me.
Seriously now, choosing between McCain & Hitlery is like choosing between being assraped by a horse or getting castrated, either way my life ain't worth living after it's done and I might as well blow my brains out. I'm either throwing my vote away on a 3rd party or spoiling my ballot.

Well, other than the anti-Hillary vote I'd say that if I bite the bullet and vote for McCain it's heavilly influenced on how I felt about him in 2000 and how he got completely butt fucked (not in the good way) by Bush and his cronies. Basically, I liked McCain in 2000 and I still think that if the Bush machine hadn't screwed him over he would have been a better canidate to go up against Gore than Bush turned out to be. That version of McCain certainly would have been a better President than Bush.
That being said. It's still very unlikely that I'll vote for McCain even though he's one of my state's senators. I just feel that after getting jobbed like he did by Bush & Co. it's almost unbelievable that he not only kept taking it from them it looks like he not only started to like it but now he believes in far too much of the same crap.
Pretty much the only way I'd vote for McCain now is if he somehow sounds more like his 2000 self during the election, and if my hate on for Hillary is maxed out by her stealing the nomination from Obama and continues to show that she's a no ethics having cunt just out for herself.
If she gets the nomination without pulling any bullshit then I will probably bite the bullet and vote for her. She's still a fucking cunt and has shown disdain for the military in the past but McCain should know better and he's still been going along with bullshit that actually hurts the military. I don't know that the end result in that regard will be any different regardless of whether it's McCain or Hillary in the Oval Office but at this point I'm willing to give the Dems a shot, plus there's still the issue of retiring Supreme Court Justices. At least any that Hillary are likely to pick are probably going to be moderate in comparison to the Bible thumping wack jobs that the Republicans are going to want to throw up there.

Well like I said, my reason is based on hope. But this is only in this thread. I am pretty positive that Obama is going to be the DEMs candidate when the real race starts.
If Clinton does somehow convince the DNC at the convention to pick her, well... I'm going to have a helluv a decision to make.

Despite all that she has done these last few months, I would choke back my disdain and vote for Hillary. I'm not sure what state this country will be in with another four years of contemporary Republican leadership, and I don't care to find out. Besides, in terms of many issues of importance, I still agree with Hillary's platform; her conduct in this campaign has simply been disgraceful.
I don't like either of them, but I suppose McCain's the lesser of two evils (though not by much). I may write in Ron Paul, for all the good it would do.

I can't believe there are people who would actually vote for McCain. It would be like electing Bush to a third term, except Johnny may actually be dumber. As much as I dislike the way Clinton's campaign is running, I could not stand to see another Republican president. If that were to happen, it would basically spell the end of the United States as a country. Ok, maybe not literally, but it's an awful thing to contemplate.

I guess the main reason for McCain over Hillary is that I have at least some idea what I'm getting, so I have time to prepare for the the worst.
