Typical clueless Republikan. But then, why should any of them even bother to learn about what anybody with less than $50 million in assets is going through? "Not my problem. And besides why don't they get jobs?"

I know its extraordinarly banal and simpleminded to picture Republikans as Bourbon aristocrats sitting around with their brandy snifters at the Club, twirling their moustaches as they chuckle over the latest wave of bank foreclosures on middle class homeowners. But with their overall attitude toward anybody not in their income bracket and the practical effect of the policies they endorse and enact, it's starting to become hard not to have that picture float through the mind.
