Nailed it. Remember, Republicans believe it's practically immoral (right up there with Gay Marriage) to let poor and middle-class people keep their money and NOT give it to the biggest multinational corporations ever to exist, so they'll use the Government's monopoly of force (through taxation) to rob the poor and middle.

Classic 'Prince John' Economics there. Methinks we'll be needing a few Robin Hoods soon.

Oh, sorry, thought we were talking about the Australian car industry, such as in our lovely Bracks Report.
Well, we don't have the same size car industry, or GDP for that matter, so we'll just push them a few more billion dollars, to get them over the current hump. The fact that this "hump" has been since some time in the eighties, well, what's another decade, right?

At least you're calling yours a loan. At least you can entertain the fantasy it may one day be paid back.
