I think 'making of' reels including that stuff are just about de rigueur on DVDs of big-noise effects-driven movies, now...the non-cheapie releases, anyway.

Yep. The Lord of the Rings Extended Edition sets show the textured frames before the CGI is complete. The featurettes go into great detail.Master of Ossus wrote:That does sound pretty cool.
