Actually, this makes sense when you remember Fox New's tactics: they make loud, unsupported statements that get cheap giggles from their target members while trying to provoke outrage in everyone else. Simply put, a lot of the "news" on Fox News is pretty much just glorified trolling.

Considering that 4chan out-trolled them, of course they'd recognize it as being "more powerful" than they are. :lol:

Actually it's a pretty good idea considering how Scientology has a history of harassing people who protest the church if they can get a name and face.
Any kind of face-covering does at that point... the Guy Fawkes masks in particular, more than anything, just fit the criteria of being cheaply available and highly recognizable.
