The worst might be over for the financial sector - not much left there that can crash - but the aftershocks are still hitting the rest of the economy. I myself is likely to get sacked after the summer as a result of the imploding newspaper situation.

I don't think the recession is over yet, but I think the decline has slowed down for the time being.

What that means long run, I have no idea.

Hopefully, the current 'slow down/stablization' will give the government the time to 'defuse' the current economic time bombs.

However, all we need is one or two major corporations/employeers to give a bad announcement, and the decline will accelerate.
I've been asked why I still follow a few of the people I know on Facebook with 'interesting political habits and view points'.

It's so when they comment on or approve of something, I know what pages to block/what not to vote for.

We're not out the woods yet and we've still got a lot of negative baggage that hasn't been dealt with yet.
