Or is it more likely that the 70% of Americans that want a public option and a reform of healthcare decided to call the party that is openly and proudly trying to kill it?
Indeed.

Shit, I met with my 'Blue Dog' Congressman (Brad Ellsworth IN-08)* earlier today to discuss healthcare.
I mention this not to imply that I'm a political 'big wheel' because I'm not.
Ellsworth chose a format of 'first come, first served' 15 minute meetings with constituents in small groups (up to 4 permitted in a meeting) in order to escape the 'shoutdown' tactics the teabaggers are so fond of.

I simply got my request in and was promptly called back and scheduled my appointment.

The most revealing comment he made was when he mentioned that the breakdown between the 'reform' and 'non reform' people he'd met with was 50/50.

If it's an even divide here in diehard conservative southwestern Indiana, I'd imagine that in more 'centrist' districts the results would be even more skewed to reform.

*I'm 42 years old and Brad is only the second Congressman I've met face to face.
The first was Frank McCloskey back in 1985 on a Close Up Foundation trip to DC when I was a high school senior.

I know you didn't, Sir Nitram did: hence me mentioning that it wasn't a claim, and why I don't say anyone would "leap to that conclusion". I thought I specified this enough.

Exactly. Whilst the DNC didn't quite tell their consituents to "troll the fuck out of the RNC", they did tell them to call and say that they've "had enough of the mob". That's hardly an invitation to leave incisive and eloquent complaints on the RNC answering machines.

The original post had the story, and then generic complaints about the RNC. My point was... so what? The RNC had "Enough of the mob!" calls coming through their system - so they redirected them back to the party that asked for the calls to be made. Yes it's childish and arrogant... but so what?

In other words, the rerouting specifically targets the folks most likely to watch DNC material to begin with. In otherwords, Democrats. It's hilarious that this thread has so much outrage at the RNC not willing to play ball with the Dems telling their constitutents to go troll the fuck out of the RNC.
I still have some trouble wrapping my head around the concept of 'Complaining about angry, violent mobs' is 'Trolling the fuck out of'. What? Are we to believe the Dems should be the 'Bigger Man'? Except they are: None of them have started talking about uprisings, being aggressive and grabbing the mic, shout down the presenter instead of having an intelligent conversation..

So yea, colour me not giving a shit about the fact some people consider 'Go call them about the angry, violent mobs' trolling.
