Hey, Chocula, what would it take to convince you that the Earth is warming and it's being caused by humans?

Surlethe: Further study of the models and reasoning, and measurement methods, none of which I have a lot of time for now (job hunting sucks up a lot of time), and which is peripheral to the OT of a politically motivated murder-suicide. CO2 seems to be the main cited culprit, although it's only 0.0387% of atmospheric composition. IIRC, there were times - pre-industrial times - when atmospheric CO2 was higher than now but with comparable or higher temperatures, like the medieval warming period, which seem to require verification of the models. I need to find out if current climate models also include effects of insolation and water vapor. The current foofraw, and what I'm observing now, is the political use and seemingly incomplete peer review of the models to drive significant industrial and economic changes. The IPCC's and Gore's alarmism aren't helping to convince me.
