Thus her only shot at winning a lawsuit depends entirely on the premise that the boy intentionally threw a ball at her.

The broken bones would be real damage, which basically nulls your contention that 11 year olds aren't strong enough to throw a ball to do anything. But like I pointed out earlier, there's a good possibility that the ball pegged her on the lacrimal bone, which is one of the weakest in the human body.

You are an idiot. When I was 11 I was already stronger than the average adult woman and I didn't go through puberty early anything compared to my peers dumb ass. I doubt that an adult woman is much stronger than they were when they were 11. By the time I was 12 I was stronger than my father, which to be fair, he is a pretty frail guy but still stronger than the average woman. The fact that I was already stornger than the average woman at 11 shows you to be wrong.

How about you try this, take the 11 year old boys you know and test it out by having them do some bench presses and pull ups. then grab some girls who never worked out in their life (average woman) and see who can lift more.

Note untrained woman (the average woman) bench press... 138 pound adult woman is one bench press max at 70 pounds. Even at advanced level it only reaches these trained boys at 11 and don't get it twisted, getting to past advanced level for males you get to the point you needing steroids to increase the weight if it's anything like the mens.

Keep in mind that osteoporosis is bone density > 2.5 standard deviations below the mean. However there is a spectrum of bone density, and osteopenia is defined as 1 to 2.5 standard deviations below the mean. While its not osteoporotic, and you can argue whether this is "normal" ie part of the aging process, but you can't say its NOT weaker than a younger person's bones.

edit - just in case its not clear, our bones weaken as we age and you don't need to be osteoporotic to have weak bones, you can be osteopenic.

Women have equivalent sized legs but that's made up by a large percentage of fat which does not contribute to strength in any significant way outside of having extra weight to throw around.

Where this myth might be stemming from is that women leg strength are equivalent or might slightly exceed men on a pound for pound basis WHEN ADJUSTED FOR BODY FAT.

While you are somewhat correct, bench press strength doesn't absolutely translate to functional strength, it is still a good overall measure of strngth given that it works out multiple muscles.

I think that claim for 150K is bullshit too. If she really had to pay that amount, spending money on a lawsuit she won't win (no matter which way the suit goes) is costing her even more. She probably wanted a face lift and is using the incident as a way to have the kid pay for it.

Even if the med claim was legit, she is going the wrong way to reclaim the costs.

I took a look to the article at APP.com which gave more information plus pics of the area where the hit took place and a couple of pics of the kid himself. He doesn't look stringy or weak. Looks tough for his age.

This is laughably wrong. I expect you to provide evidence of this remarkably ignorant claim. Muscle is muscle is muscle, there is no difference between male muscle and female muscle. Pound for pound, there is no difference between men and women. Men, on average, are larger than women, with a higher lean mass-to-fat ratio; however, this has nothing to do with muscle strength, and bulk =/= strength.
