And it does call into question whether anyone should take your model seriously, or whether it accurately predicts long term trends.

This is why I now say "climate change" instead of "global warming", the former term is more accurate.

They are both accurate. Global Warming is happening - this is leading to Climate Change.

Just because it is snowing badly in the US, it doesn't mean the globe is cooler than this time last year - Australia is in a ridiculous heat wave at present, for example. The average global temperature is definitely rising, but this won't be a uniform rise.

A report on NPR stated it was in part caused by Warming up around the Arctic region. Apparently warming up near the north pole is destabilizing the much talked about "Polar Vortex" and sending it down south,
