There was a great article in the Boston Herald today with that Iraqi assclown, and there was a quote next to him that said something to the effect of "There are no American troops in Bagdhad whatsoever." The quote was dated April 7th, 2003. Then right under that picture is a photo of American troops standing outside one of the palaces next to a tank, just kinda shooting the shit (no pun intended). Funny shit.

To reach such a high position he would have had to be around for some time, we don't know whats in his past. He might escape charges, but he's not going to want to stay in Iraq, the backlash against such major Saddam supports is going to be high.

I've kinda taken a liking to the guy. You almost feel sorry for him--you KNOW he has to know what he's saying is pure bullshit, but he keeps on plugging away. He's like the little engine that could. Well, except that he couldn't.

I agree with the rest of you. I like this guy. Just the sheer tenacity sort of endears you to him. I hope he comes through this okay, and gets a nice, steady job. Hell, any comedy group would hire him simply because he can say the ridiculous with a perfectly straight face.

But, I will miss his "On da street" bits. The last one was funny as hell. He's spewing out his BS, about Bagdad being safe, and everyone around him was parinoid as hell. And you can tell he didn't even belive his shit. He's usually long winded, but that time he was like "Every things fine...There no such thing as Americans...Saddams in charge....Uh,Saddam is great, deathtotheinfedels, maytheirbonesbleachinthesun...I'm getting the fuck outta here."

Not Fox News. Say what you want about them, their anchors and reporters all sound like they want to get drunk and dance right on camera. Their commentators are out and out gloating and Neil Cavuto savaged France, Germany, and Russia in his editorial yesterday.

A little tidbit about our favorite information minister. He turned in his own brother in law to Sadaam. After that he was allowed into the fringes of the circle of power. Not exactly a nice guy, huh?

And that is just plain DISTURBING that the Arab street has a diametrically opposed view as the rest of the western media. I read a quote somewhere where an Egyptian man said that Sadaam was the "best dictator in the Middle East" OK, WTF?!?!

Somehow I find it very strange and perhaps one of the many reasons why the Arab world is in the position that it's in that they are willing and seemingly happy to accept a dictatorship as a good thing.

There are TONS of issues that have plagued that region and many come down to some downright wrong cultural attitudes that will doom this region to be the ass end of the world for generations to come.
