North Korea is the only country on Earth that could shelter Saddam Hussein and might actually want him in country. Who else is going to take him? The Syrians? There's an empty spot in the Axis of Evil and they're on the short list to get moved in there. The Saudis? It's hard to walk on eggshells (which they're going to have to do with us) when there's a piano strapped on your back. The Pakistanis? The KUWAITIS? Castro? Mugabe? Only North Korea could get away with it, and it's not like relations with them could get much worse.

Wrong. The extent of the executive order that political leaders wont be assassinated in peacetime. Saddam however holds the rank of field marshal and is commander and chief of the Iraqi armed forces, making him fair game regardless of how the conflict is classified.
Saddam Hussein's titles are (Listed in appropriate order): the Anointed One, Glorious Leader, Direct Descendant of the Prophet, President of Iraq, Chairman of its Revolutionary Command Council, Field Marshal of its armies, doctor of its laws, and Great Uncle to all its peoples.

He's dead, first day of the war we got him in the bunker, 4 bunker busters and however many cruise missles in one shot, I would have damage calcs but my math skills are shit and no one is helping in SLM.

But besides that the reason they bombed the resturant, apparently, was that the russians were leaving town, and told the Iraqis that they were taking their (Russian) satilite phones with them, but gave the Iraqis the warning that their fiber-optic lines were tapped. So to test that out the Iraqis played an old tape of Udey (I think, it might have been Qusay) arranging a meal with Saddam and the top command in a open air diner. We then made the diner go BOOM! because:
A. We wanted the Iraqis to know we hear everything they say
and
B. If we said we killed him day 1 the French would have claimed that the Job was over, and the re-building must begin right away.

I kinda suspect that the Aussie SAS would have found him when they conducted a search on that convoy... Unless of course he was pretending to be a tree or something.

He arranged to have a highly elaborate and convulted geneaology constructed that "proved" he was a direct descendant of the Prophet through his daughter Fatima.

I asked Yoda if Saddam was in Tikrit, and he said Yes, I feel this will be.
So I say he's in Tikrit.

With the millions being spent on the search for him, they say it's still anybody's guess, why not give me the money and I'll have a crack at it.
