Providing a safehouse or training camp to the Palestine Liberation Front is rather worse than giving money to the families of dead suicide bombers. We're talking about whether Saddam provided safe-haven or resources directly to people who plotted violent acts.

There's still a possibility that if Iraq helps Palestinian freedom fighters, it unkowingly supports the training of future al-Qaeda recruits.

As for Idi Amin? I thought this was public knowledge. The man was given exile in Iraq after running from Uganda.

Uh, no. He was given public exile in Saudi Arabia after running from Uganda, and is still there today, which is yet another blot on the atrocious civil rights record of the House of Saud.

Yet more reason for why Saudi Arabia shoulda been nailed before Iraq was.

not only that Vymp, but now the Palestinian government is claiming that holding him in custody is a violation of the 1993 Oslo Accords. Accorting to the Palestinians the Accords prohibit trial or incarceration of PA members for 'terrorist' acts committed prior to 1990.
Abbu Abbas is immune to prosecution from Israel, not the United States.

While Bill Clinton sought no action against Abbas – on the grounds that he had put his signature to the 1993 Oslo Accords -, President Bush makes the converse argument: the United States was an observer, not an active party to Oslo diplomacy. Abbas is far from immune to American prosecution.

That would be up to the Supreme Court to decide.

No - We had to take out Iraq first. Iraq gives us the necessary regional position and the necessary economic damper to approach the minimalization of the Wahhabi regime in the KSA. Iraq is a necessary precursor to operations against Syria, Iran, and the KSA; out of which we may indeed engage in actual military operations against Syria and the KSA.
