If there is such a need for a 'gay' school, then there should be plenty of support for a private 'gay' school. Having a 'gay' public school flies right in the face of the law.

I'd donate money to the legal fund of a straight person who tried to register for this school. And I hope someone does, just to challenge this in court, since, of course, Brown Vs. Topeka, Kansas Board of Education was on the exact same legal principles, and that person would win. This school needs to be either shut down or opened to all students in New York, immediately.

Or privatized. While I still would be some what, emmm about it. Still, being private would make it pass legal muster if the people REALLY wanted it. The fact that it is public is the main beef and yes, I would imagine that any judge that did not strike this down would get over turned in a higher court.
