If it is Ebola, it looks an awful lot like the Mutaba virus they used in the movie Outbreak. Interesting that they actually did their research on that one.
That's because... it was. They used the same TEM images of the virus particles and basically let it do the same thing as my fave blood-borne haemorrhagic fever but with the added benefit of being airborne.

Now where did I put my copy of The Hot Zone...

I've got my copy over on my bookshelf, I think. Might have left it at home, though.

PETA uses red paint for all their "splash blood on people" stunts. As dumb as they often are, I'm sure if they were throwing around real blood one of them would figure out that they're causing the deaths of helpless innocent animals by splashing the blood around.

Come to think of it, that would be a hilarious scene.

Oh god, I just had a great idea. Why not collect all of that fake blood, load it into a super soaker, then run up to them and say "HERE'S the beef bitch" before blasting them at point blank range

I enjoy a good T-bone steak and dislike PETA as much as anybody else, but this is just "me too" spam of the highest order.
