I have noticed that this election is a lot more negative than the last one, although many earlier elections probably had a lot more mud-slinging and lying. After all, You don't see Kerry saying he was born in a log cabin or saying that the president has used tax dollars to put Spongebob Squarepants bedsheets in the Lincoln Bedroom like the Whigs in the Election of 1840.
