Update: There was a lesbian and gay kiss fest in Toronto today to show support for the couple in Montreal. The evening news said there were around a hundred people present at Yonge & Bloor who took part in the kiss-in.

In Montreal of all places....

What the hell makes a person think that they're justified in striking someone for showing affection for another human being?! I just don't fucking get it.
