Was it me or was Bush shouting alot? He seemed to be whining even more than usual. Certainly a better performance than last time but still he is just way out of his element here.

if you ignore that little hissy fit.
And if you ignore what John Wilkes Booth did, Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln had a wonderful night out at the theatre.

Yes, he said haters. Guess he ran out of words...

Kerry owned him on the arena of domestic policy.

Bush's closing statement was pretty bad to anybody who isn't living in a pipe dream - c'mon, spread freedom around? Bush is just retarded if he thinks he can invade a country and leave a few years later after converting them into a representative democracy, then repeat.

And while we sow the seeds of freedom in foreign nations, the tree of liberty withers away in the US...

It appeals to his followers, according to one I know. Either they're all deaf or as thick as pigshit.

He was clearly on the defensive and totally uncomposed. This was a slaughterhouse.

A guy on the Beeb was mentioning the continued use of the "world test" Bush kept harping on about. If there was some test, I doubt Bush passed it.

My roommate was watching Fox before the debate, so I decided to not bother flipping channels (I don't know the stations here) and just catch the whole debate on Fox. Besides, it's amusing.

It's just funny to me to see folks blast Fox News, but then they can't seem to get enough of it.

...and now the political pundits are spinning:

GOP: "Our guy did well, and Kerry sucked."

Dems: "Our guy was outstanding and Bush sucked."

and

Is Bush TRYING to look like a spoiled brat, picking fights with the Moderator?

Damn, beat me to it. I may have to eat one or two of my words of criticism (but the other few hundred will stay for now).

Hah! Now she's saying the ex-Pres. is feeling better because Kerry is doing so well in the debates!

He refused to let Charlie finish establishing the framework for rebuttals and basically shouted him down to get to speak without being given any sort of guidance.

I don't know what Hillary thinks of all this. If Kerry wins, her chance to be President may be gone.

I see a Madame President about as likely as 24's African-American President. That is, not bloody likely.

It'd be a nice change at least.

Why do people insist that this whole thing is a secret plot to get Hillary in the white house? Am I missing something, or am I just not capable of thinking in conservative?
