It looks like he's smashing banks, AIG, GM, and then heading toward health care. Apparently this shocks Uncle Sam and Lady Liberty? Right now for the most part Americans are mostly in awe of how much their president is accomplishing. This cartoon makes no sense to me.

Just as we devastated Baghdad in the invasion, Obama is destroying capitalism. He has already attacked AIG, GM, and the banks, and now he's heading towards the medical industry. This makes perfect sense, if you're a good patriotic republican who watches Fox Propaganda and listens to Limbaugh and believes McCain was too liberal.

I hadn't been aware of the quality of news that Fox was actually broadcasting. I wasn't much into politics when I was in high-school, and my first two years of college I didn't pay attention much beyond the whole September 11th outpouring of conservative talking points and nationalistic chest-thumping. From 2002-2004 I was working as a missionary in the Amazon basin and didn't have time to watch TV or follow US politics. When I came back to America my wife and I didn't have a TV, so I got my news from CNN's website and didn't watch any cable news. The time I was referring to was really the first time in about 4 years that I found myself in a home w/ cable TV and my pick on the remote so, wanting to watch news, I tuned in to the channel that I had remembered from 2002 as being the place I went to learn what was going on: Faux News. Now that I have my own TV and dish broadcasting, we all watch CNN.

Apologies if I'm speaking out of turn, but I was under the impression that this thread (as per the OP) was for insightful, witty, funny Political Cartoons...Now don't get me wrong, it is certainly subjective to the poster what is and is not a GOOD cartoon, but for those people posting right wing drivel in this thread only to highlight the stupidity of them; isn't that what THIS thread was made for?

There just a separation between the two panels. The cartoon is trying to say that Obama wants to get rid of the Constitution.

The prospect of how we are supposed to kick the asses of all the Ay-rabs with just state militias apparently hasn't yet been identified as a problem.

I especially liked how a lot of those protests were also held at... public parks.
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

So it's probably a Libertarian angle. Or something.

Fuck, I thought I had it, but now I'm just as confused as you.

A decision must be made in the life of every nation at the very moment when the grasp of the enemy is at its throat.
