How would this help anything? What's your reasoning here? How many 18 year olds do you know who are qualified for those positions? I don't know many people that age who are qualified to run a Pizza Hut, let alone a country. How about writing your senators and demanding a bill to close Gitmo? Shutting down our own take on a concentration camp would do a lot more to improve our image than letting kids fresh out of high school run for high office would.

Fuck, you can't even have a proper job without some kind of degree, which you don't have at that age. Lowering the limit so teenagers can run for senators is a really, really bad idea. I'm sorry, but some fields of work have no such thing as equality, and the argument that teenagers vote already means nothing; participating in politics and actually involving yourself in it are way different.
