Uhm, we cut off all exports of Oil to Japan in 1941. Wow. That Worked
So well
I don't get what you mean. Saudi Arabia is never going to cut off oil exports- it'll hurt the world economy and therefore hurt them.
And besides, we could break OPEC if we wanted to...we produce just as
much oil as Saudi Arabia...
I really don't think the US has that much oil.

If OPEC really starts to hurt the US Economy, expect pressure to be mounted on them from Iraq

It'll take years of development to get Iraq even close to what Saudi Arabia can do- Iraq still doesn't have the largest proven oil reserves, and it's infrastructure is in shambles.

I don't think that's the kind of pressure he meant.

Something wicked this way comes.

Prices in Southern Maryland range from $1.63 to $1.78 (87 octane, at two Wawa stations that aren't even 50 miles apart).

I've heard that the Saudis are blaming the prices on the futures markets. Anybody know how true this is?

Also, does anyone know where the US gets it oil from, by percent? I've been told that only %10 is from OPEC, while 50%+ is from Canada. I wonder how reliable those numbers are...
Artillery. Its what's for dinner.
