Funny you should say that, the X files spin off "The Lone Gunmen" had the government crashing a plane into the WTC (or attempting to) in order to give the government an excuse to topple some petty dictators and thus increase military spending.
I’m sure the people seeing a conspiracy here can be more inventive, maybe linking it to Hitler’s secret Antarctic UFO base.

I believe you're flailing for the word "personnel" here, and "it's" is a contraction of "it is," which you confused for the possessive pronoun "its." Tell you what: when you have a basic command of English, give 'er another try. *Jay London voice*: Thhhank you.
You, sir, just played the semantics game with a United States Marine, who I think would have some idea as to the capabilities and willingness of our military to attack our own country. Let me clue you in, asshole. As long as you understand what he meant, his argument is not invalidated over a couple misspelled words. Now put up or shut up, dickweed.

It comes in vB3. I use it over at Animenation all the time as it discourages people to vote anonymously just to get a reacion.

Style over substance fallacy, you horsefucker.
Where is the US government getting the manpower to stage these attacks, you pinko commie fuck?

Polls in phpBB are pseudo-anonymous. It records the fact that you've already voted, but it does not record what your vote was. The database only records the user IDs of people who have voted so they can't vote twice, and it stores the aggregate results in a separate table.
In other words, all I can tell you is who has voted so far:
I put in for "allowing", but on a much lesser scale than others would imply. I have no doubts at all that SOME elements/individuals within the US government and military knew of the attacks, but for reasons known only to them (more funding, revenge, who knows), failed to act on the issue.
That the US planned or carried out the attacks or that a vast conspiracy was involved is laughable.

if by "allow" you mean "facilitate via ineptitude and burocracy" then i cuold agree. But to say that elements of the government had forwarning and did nothing knowing the scope of tha attck when they could of done something..... thats a bit of a stretch. Even the most rabid of rightists and leftists in the government wouldn't sit back and let lunatics bomb their home... or endanger their own lives. Or maybe i have a litle too much faith in humanity.

I forget how stupid you can be. Thanks for reminding us all.

In that short time, they talked about:
-The New World Order (Does Hollywood Hogan still run that?)
-How the government told us all to get microchips implanted in us or there would be more terrorist attacks (Those nefarious government types. They did this so secretly, I don't even remember it!)
-How the government was responsible for every terrorist attack on the U.S. for the past decade or two.
Finally, I just had to stop watching when they said that the NWO's ultimate goal was a 80% world population reduction so they could keep the life extending technology all to themselves.
I'm honestly surprised he doesn't claim the Jews or Mossad did it. I thought that was the popular 9/11 theory du jour.

Agreed. I can concievable see some asshat pre 9/11 getting info of a hijacked plane being crashed into buildings and saying 'thats ridiculous' and filing the info away.
But to say some creepy military industrail complex guy was rubbing his hands together waiting for it to happen before ramping up his assembly line is insulting and just plain nuts.

New World Order... The only websites where I've seen those words were the ones that describe the government reverse-engineering Zeta Reticulan spacecraft and controlling our minds with microwave beams.
