The New Kabul City at Dehsabz is a lasting future for Afghanistan. Its implementation presents: Dehsabz City with its commercial agricultural Barikab area, planned for three million inhabitants, completion within 30 years on a 500 sqkm area, located on the north of existing Kabul and made for current and future generations. The perspective of the project is deeply integrated into the existing topography, cultural identity, agricultural life and national priorities of Afghanistan. This provides an excellent opportunity to involve the entire country in a profound social and economic change. It will thus present a confident Afghani face to the world.
I gotta say, I find it encouraging that they're even planning 30 years ahead in Afghanistan.
