The Unemployment Game Show - 17.2% unemployment
Interesting. Not bad for an online video (by Mint). I like the ending .
Any comments on the statistics? They make sense, but i'm leery of anything that's made with a motive.

This isn't surprising at all - at a time in Australia you were not unemployed IIRC if you worked 1 hour per month. That could be unpaid work, work for a family business or whatever.
Every nation does similar fudging of the stats to hide how bad it is. The biggest crisis in Australia at hte moment isn't unemployment, it's underemployment. Shitloads of people being made part time so that the company can continue to operate, but keep labour costs down. Meanwhile employee's can no longer afford their housing or other basic needs. Hurrah!
