Koran burners support the Westboro Baptist Church

Dove World is one of the few groups to join forces with Westboro members, who have protested at funerals across the country.

In April, a handful of Westboro members picketed outside of the University of Florida Hillel, the Jewish student center, and Trinity United Methodist Church, and Jones and about 30 members of his congregation joined the WBC members outside of Trinity United.
The Westboro Baptitist Church is, of course, the one that pickets and protests the funerals of fallen American servicemen, as I'm certain you're all aware.

Why, then, hasn't the mainstream ("liberal") media picked up this story and run with it like an Olympic triathlete? If it were truly in this Imam's service, it would want to expose this and potentially drive away the nationalistic supporters of Dove Outreach who may not otherwise take kindly to this sort of 'treason', as I'm sure they'd see it.

Maybe... the media isn't that liberal after all?
When the histories are written, I'll bet that the Old Right and the New Left are put down as having a lot in common and that the people in the middle will be the enemy.

Americans see the Establishment center as an empty, decaying void that commands neither their confidence nor their love. It was not the American worker who designed the war or our military machine. It was the establishment wise men, the academicians of the center.

I've seen this covered in the morning paper (USA Today, I think it was) and discussed on the radio (KRLA, KFI and whatever the morning-zoo station is, that's set on my hotel clock-radio...)

Maybe you mean more major outlets, but people *have* mentioned it...

...anyway I suspect that people who are prepared to cheer the burning of Qurans won't turn a hair if it's the Westborough pigs doing it. People have great skill at temporarily overlooking things that might otherwise harsh their buzz over a story they'd otherwise enjoy.
