Sadly, the GoogleMaps picture showing the Russian armoured division just outside of Savannah has been corrected and taken down.

Does the above reflect reality? If so... where are the links etc? That would be a hell of a case!

That is AWESOME, but WTF? They're not commies, so the AWESOME (and funni) symbolism is grossly inappropriate. But I guess that's the point. :D

That's pretty good, even if it's a bigass Ford SUV. At least they got a hybrid one. Be nicer if it was a series hybrid.

Hah. This is the first time I've noticed that most of the MCain's houses are in the housing bubble hotspots (Arizona mainly, and California, probably on the border).

Obama more likely drives around in secret service vehicles, or cars registered to his campaign.

Actually, Coronado, CA is a rather exclusive island right off San Diego. Sort of like the Malibu of SD County.

Not quite right but mostly right.

Coronado CA is famous for two things, one is housing prices, the second is the US Navy SEAL
Many a summer I spent in Coronado building sand-castles while a quarter mile away near the island divide I could see SEAL recruits doing push up's in the ocean as the waves came in.

On the beach their is a very small fence dividing military and public beach and some of the SEAL trainers love to bring the fresh recruits right up close to it so he can wave to the families sunbath while screaming at his pushup'es.

Coronado is isolated from the housing crunch because you could not get a loan for that area unless you came from money. Things were to expensive on Coronado to being making 60k a year and pull out a 400k load to afford a one bedroom shack on the island.

Bigass? A Ford Escape is not a very large vehicle, especially compared to Ford's "real" SUVs (Explorer, Expedition); in fact with an FWD drivetrain, a footprint about the same size as a Honda Civic and a unitized body, it's basically just a jacked-up compact car. In any case, even the non-hybrid Escape is a lot more fuel efficient than Obama's last car, which was a Chrysler 300C (yep, it had a Hemi)

On the topic of the above post, Sinfest has a lot of comics about the election - the original location for that comic is here where the rest of them reside (why put it on a slow-ass server at all?).

Is the fact that they're beavers relevant to the humor?

Yes. The beaver is a Canadian symbol. The Canadian national election was yesterday. The cartoon is from a Canadian newspaper.

Why isn't Shrub "supported by intolerant, extreme fundamentalist religious leaders"?

Doesn't most of his religious support come from the fundamentalists?
