Romney catches Cain out in a big way about sales taxes and pins him down well.

Bachmman, the President is trying to destroy this country
Hooray for Civility!
And the moderators are still trying push it into Romney VS Perry but everyone except Newt is attacking Cain hard and ignoring Perry.

Don't worry Perry is still fucking things up on his own.

Romney is on fire tonight taking apart Cain again and then making Newt admit the indivdual mandate was supported by him which Newt insists was all the Heritage foundations fault. Also Bachmann broke in to their exchange to attack the President over the fact that the Obama Adminstration overturned one of the parts of Heath Reform on their own and it gets a massive cheer.

*Edit
Per the live coverage the Perry calling Cain brother over and over while addressing everyone else formally is getting play on twitter.

Perry is terrible. Flat out terrible. Nothing he's said has anything at all to do with what's being asked, he's just swinging at people randomly.

Cain with a lie, claiming TARP was passed by Obama. Apparently everyone without a job should blame themselves, I'd heard he'd said this before, but I hope he wins the Republican nomination if that's his stance. He will lose by a historic amount if that's the message he tries to sell to America.

Wow, Ron Paul says he'd cut Israeli aid, everyone else jumped in to announce how much they love Israel and would never ever touch her funding.

I think saying that the people at Guantanamo aren't terrorists, they haven't been convicted was an even bigger shot.

"Who will best be able to beat Barack Obama."

Santorum: "I can win because I can win local elections!"

Romney: "I can win because I know how to make jobs and get the country working again!"

Perry: "I governed a state that made jobs!"
Romney: "You just watched them made by others, I actually had to make them."

Cain: "I also made jobs and worked as the little man. I have the mainstreet perspective!"

Bachmann: "Obama sucks! REAGAN"

Newt: "Err...something about Reagan?"

No joke, this was a honest surprised comment on my part, Ron Paul gave a thoughtful and detailed response on faith that with both cogent and insightful.
Right after of course Newt said he does not trust Atheists (Newt:I can't trust anyone who does not pray) some what ruining the moment.

This still doesn't tell us what Paul said. Would you mind summarizing?
So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

I wish I could find a clip to do his words justice and have him deliver them himself but in essence what he said was this.
"Yes it's okay to look a persons religion but only to understand what their system of morals and beliefs are, what they regard as right and wrong. The real problem with what the Pastor said about Mit Romney was the statement that they would not vote for him because he was not their religion, our country was set up specifically about preventing religious tests for public office, thus voting for or against someone based on the fact they are not the same religion as you takes us to dark and dangerous places."

Paraphrasing of course, very paraphrasing.

This debate should just about finish off Rick Perry. In addition to revealing himself to the nation as the fact-challenged boob that he is, NPR reported on an analysis of the Perry campaign's finances which reveals that most of his contributors have about maxed-out on their donation limits and that, additionally, the overwhelming bulk of his donor base is clustered in the states of Texas and Oklahoma but thin to nonexistent everywhere else. He has $15 million in reserve cash at the moment, but when that goes and his revenue sources dry up, so will his campaign. Perry is on the road to nowhere.

Oil an emergency?! It's about time, Brigadier, that the leaders of this planet of yours realised that to remain dependent upon a mineral slime simply doesn't make sense.

Doesn't that ignore the couple of SuperPACs that're waiting in the wings to support him? They don't have to disclose anything from what I remember.
