yeah it will, and i have to go to my sister-in-law's spanish honor society thing, so i will miss it. Speaking of live TV coverage, i saw something on Entertainment tonight that really pissed me off. The way they talk about war on ET, you'd think it was the exciting new release of a Schwartzanegger movie, when really it is men and women fighting and dying. makes me sick.

The time at which the war will start will depend on the weather and what the moon's doing.
edit: We should start our attack during the morning prayers. That way while they're bowing down to Mecca, we'll come in from the other side and shoot them in the ass.

Those people scare me. If we ever went to war, we'd be unable to bomb them because we'd first have problems finding their country, and then we might accidently miss them and hit someone else.Col. Crackpot wrote:yeah, but that might upset Luxeumberg or something...

Just a question.
Have the US of A actually declared war yet or do they do that 5 min before the first bomb falls?

I'm inclined to believe that Bush will follow the pattern of his father and unless I'm mistaken, Bush attacked one day AFTER the deadline he announced in the Gulf, so my money is that we'll hit him one day AFTER the current deadline.

The USA doesn't declare war.

Don't have to in that reguard. The days of a goup of diplomats sitting around in tophats and monocals, giving out a 'declaration of war' on a large sheet of parchment, are over. Our intentions are clear, no one is cofused of 'IF' we are going to attack. Our internal rules and laws on 'declaring war' have been met last year when congress gave Bush the authority to do what he had to, plus on top of that the violation of the cease fire, gives Bush the authority to go back in from the original Congressional approvale from 91.Vympel wrote:Faram wrote:Just a question.

Countless times in the last few months, Bush has said that if they don't disarm, we will disarm you by force. Sounds like he was saying we will declare war on them. The other day, he said that Saddam has 48 hours to leave Iraq or we will comence military action. Sounds like he was declaring war to me.

But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

I know you're not serious, but bad idea. This is not a war against Islam (unfortunately).Wicked Pilot wrote:The time at which the war will start will depend on the weather and what the moon's doing.

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

Not tonight. If there's that one in a million chance that Saddam actually has left the country, there might be some time needed to report it, and have the claims verified, I suppose. Maybe Thursday night.
I hope it starts at night, so I can wake up the next morning and read about Saddam's defeat in the paper.

No bomb or missile strikes though, and only reports of distant AA fire. Its may just have been a recon drone or something.Zoink wrote:CNN right now: Air raid sirens in Iraq.

I guess it's time to do my duty to my country, and spend all my time in the basement eating pizza while watching news reports on the war.BrYaN19kc wrote:The White House just announced that the war has begun.
But, just because the war has officialy begun doesn't mean that we'll bomb immediately after, right?

Seconded, Ando. My new neighborhood is full of Muslims, and they along with the many Nicaraguans, Hondurans, Vietnamese, etc. are some of the nicest people around! Durran, my respect for you has been badly damaged. Please do not provoke me to using force.
