AP News wrote:LAS VEGAS (AP) — Casino magnate and GOP donor Sheldon Adelson is not in good health and has not been at his company’s offices in Las Vegas since around Christmas Day.
Adelson’s poor health was revealed earlier this week by one of his company’s attorneys during a court hearing in a years-old case brought by a Hong Kong businessman.
Las Vegas Sands Corp. on Thursday did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Attorney James Jimmerson told the court the condition of the 85-year-old billionaire is dire.
Adelson and his wife gave President Donald Trump’s campaign $30 million in 2016 and gave $100 million to the Republican Party for the 2018 midterm elections.
Details on this are simple, Sheldon Adelson all around rich man and promoter of settlements in the West Bank, links to organized crimes in his casino's, racist hiring practices, best friend to the Orange One and frequent fan of suing people who criticize him, Mr Adelson per his lawyer in court was not in court because he is to sick to attend.

Deep-rooted social problems are not resolved by the death of a few bad men.

The closest I ever got to the Vegas high life was finagling an invite to a Downtown casino takeover in the mid-00's.
The buyer was a pleasantly patient and understanding man when dealing with my barely post-teen self and when breathlessly quizzed about his fellow Vegas operators I'd read about elsewhere he said:
